Three competitions for different age groups, M/3, M/6, and M/9, will be seen and carefully evaluated by an attentive jury of children between 8 and 12 years old. But Curtinhas program isn't just about films; children and families can also participate in the workshops and all the fun activities we have to offer around this year's theme, Intergalactic Journey.

SKY WATCHING WITH THE NAKED EYE [Registrations]

— The night is essential!

Every night, above our heads, we have a beautiful ever-changing firmament: the sky's landscape is different every hour. In this session, guided by Martin Pawley (film critic and Astronomy enthusiast), we will learn to recognize with the naked eye the brightest stars and discover the patterns they form, as well as how to orient ourselves using the North Star. We will also understand that night is essential for the animals and plants with whom we share the planet.

AWARDS CEREMONY + AWARDED FILMS [Tickets]

In Curtinhas closing ceremony, the Jury, formed by 12 children between the ages of 8 and 12, will present the trophies to the winning films. In this edition, the jury will award the Ativo Kids Prize of €750, and a voucher worth €250 for items from the store.

CLOSING PARTY [Free Entrance]

We invite families to join us in the Museu das Rendas de Bilros garden for the long-awaited and fun closing party, dedicated to the movie "Elio", with the theme "Intergalactic Journey".
