The 11th edition of O Dia Mais Curto (The Short Film Day) took dozens of cinema screenings across the country throughout December.
In this edition, Agência — Portuguese Short Film Agency presented 4 different programmes, for all ages and audiences, with Portuguese and international films, which will be shown from the north to the south of the country, on the mainland and the islands.
New Portuguese Shorts is a selection of works made in Portugal, which offer different reflections on permanent problems in today's society. The Short Films From Around The World - European Audience Award programme presents European films awarded by audiences at major film festivals in this year's ESFAA (European Short Film Audience Award) programme, while the sections dedicated to younger audiences, Shorts For Everyone (M/6) and Short Friends (M/3), invite the public to explore the emblematic universes of animation cinema.
The Portuguese Short Film Agency would like to say a special thank you to all the organizations, collaborators, directors and producers who joined in the great celebration of short films.
The Short Film Day will be back at the end of 2024.
