In this 19th edition, in addition to the special sessions open to the public, the Curtas Metragens CRL's Education Service has planned a series of sessions and workshops especially aimed at school audiences, adapted to different age groups. These sessions and workshops are by appointment only and can take place at the school or at the Municipal Theatre.
APRIL SHORTS
In the year commemorating the 50th anniversary of 25 April, we are presenting a series of short films, including fiction, animation and documentaries, which seek to evoke a historical memory of the period of dictatorship and the April revolution, as well as celebrating an attitude of resistance and freedom.

Based on 'Casaco Rosa', the PIDE inspector who headed the brigade that assassinated General Humberto Delgado.

This is a film about how war settles in the bodies of people who live it eye to eye. And then, thousands of kilometres and dozens of years later, it contaminates other human beings like a virus. "Shrapnel" reveals how the colonial war took hold of the bodies and minds of those who returned, and how the trauma can be transferred to subsequent generations.
