Promoted by Solar - Galeria de Arte Cinemática and the Curtas Metragens CRL Education Service, the 18th edition of ANIMAR offered an extensive programme centred on animated cinema, which included an exhibition and various guided tours and themed workshops, held both at Solar - Galeria de Arte Cinemática and in a wide range of schools in the region, reaching audiences of different age groups.

The making-of of the 18th edition of ANIMAR was presented at the closing session, marked by the screening of 'Nayola', the first feature film by José Miguel Ribeiro, who introduced the session.
